About United Paws Cattery

We are a small home style cattery located in the Netherlands and registered with TICA. Our cats are imported from reputable breeders throughout Europe and in North America. We do our best to provide the fluffiest and cuddliest Ragdolls as pets and show/breed kittens. All our babies are growing in a loving environment, they are always spoiled with cuddles and treated as family members.
Having the first Ragdoll pet "Meatball" opened the door for us, this breed has such amazing personality and you just can't get enough of their loveliness. Since then we decided to start a Ragdoll cattery and build our own special line of Ragdolls. All our cats are tested and free of PKD(Polycystic Kidney Diseases) and HCM (
Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), they are well socialized, completed potty training and ready to love you unconditionally :).

The Ragdoll Breed

Bio
Ragdolls are large sized, semi-longhaired cat with ocean blue eyes. It is one of the largest breed actually, the average weight is between 5-9KG. Ragdolls get along well with children and other pets, including dogs, often living up to its name as it goes limp when being picked up. These sturdy cats have no extreme characteristics and blend easily in to the new environment. You can even take them outside for a walk if they are trained properly.

Purrrsonality
The Ragdoll is a chill, happy cat and many of these cats will go limp in your arms and flop like a stuffed doll when you cuddle them. Generally, the Ragdoll cat is a loving, quiet cat. If you are looking for a very active cat or a talkative cat, a Ragdoll probably is not the breed for you, although kittens and young adults can be a bit active and most Ragdolls are always willing to play. Ragdolls are known for their tolerant attitudes with other animals and especially children and many will allow themselves to be dressed in doll clothes and carried around by youngsters with absolutely no resistance. They are often compared to dogs because of their friendliness and intelligence and have even been taught to play fetch.
